MarTech started in 1993 as an EASA service center, while we have evolved into many different industrial repair and service fields, our beginnings are in the motor repair field and we fully support that business today.

We are a lifelong member of the EASA-The Electrical Apparatus Service Association, Inc. (EASA) is an international trade organization of over 2,150 electromechanical sales and service firms in 50 countries. Through its many engineering and educational programs, EASA provides members with a means of keeping up to date on materials, equipment, and state-of-the-art technology.

MarTech performs every type of repair service -from rebuild to complete rewind of A.C. & D.C. motors and generators. We can accommodate machines that range from the smallest NEMA frame fractional hp up to 2,500 HP units. All repairs meet the same stringent specifications as those of the original manufacture. For example, we use inverter duty wire for all random wound motors. Repair Process

MarTech uses quality materials and replacement parts to ensure a reliable, quality repairs. In-house dynamic balancing to 5000 lbs of all rotating parts is provided to assure precision vibration results. We use the highest quality bearings and seals, utilizing the latest technology to ensure proper installation and fits. All mechanical repairs on shafts, bearing journals, end bells, etc., are completed in-house by our highly qualified and experienced machinists.

DC Motor Repair

DC motor repair is a specialty at MarTech. We provide service to a wide variety of industrial customers and also provide DC service to other motor repair centers. Close examination of brushes and commutator in addition to special testing procedures such as surge, high frequency, hipot, dynamometer and megger testing and mandatory to a quality repair. Precision tolerances and proper brush grades are required to maintain good commutation and brush life. Small problems overlooked or unattended can lead to big problems and downtime.

All coils are wound on computerized machines for uniformity and accuracy utilizing Class H wire, phase insulation and other insulation materials. All units are tested before shipment to ensure peak operation in a variety of plant settings.
